My Thoughts – Adam’s Car Shampoo
When considering the best car shampoo I need a great feel while washing my car, something that doesn’t add or remove protection, and something that smells great. Adam’s car shampoo nails this for me. I use this for a foam pre-soak and in my wash bucket for maintenance washes. This feels amazing while I’m hitting the small details of my car with a detail brush and then using a wash pad. Because this is a mild soap it can dry on the surface of your car and easily rinse off. I’ve used this many times in direct sunlight and even though panels have dried before I rinsed them, I have never had an issue with spotting. Lastly, the smell is awesome. When I think about washing my car on a nice day part of what makes that a great experience is the smell of Adam’s car shampoo.
How to Use Adam’s Car Shampoo
Foam Cannon
I like to rinse my car and then throw foam on it. I use Adam’s car shampoo in a MTM PF22.2 Foam Cannon with 4 ounces (120mL) of Adam’s car shampoo and the rest water. Put the water in first, then shampoo, and gently swirl it around; do not shake it or it will foam inside the bottle. I foam the entire car and let it sit and soak for a 5 minutes. I do not rinse this off. If there’s any solution left in the foam cannon I will spray extra foam on really dirty areas or spray it into my wash bucket to add a little extra foam. I then wash the car with a two bucket wash.
Car Shampoo
Adam’s car shampoo is used like most car wash shampoo. You can add more or less depending on your requirements, but start with 2 ounces of Adam’s car shampoo in 4 gallons of water in your 5 gallon bucket. I like to add the water first then put the car shampoo on my wash pad and dunk the wash pad under water. After that I spray it with my pressure washer to get the shampoo mixed and foaming in the bucket.
