Why We Need to Be Here

The Vision

Straight from one of the visions for my life; have a hobby that brings friends together and pays for itself.

So, that hobby is focused around cars. For example, we like them when they’re clean and shiny, certainly when they’re fast, and when they’re fun to drive. Most importantly we’re focused on the experience and not the data. Do I need the car with the 4.7 or the 4.5 0-60 time? Does that matter? Which one do you enjoy driving more? Let’s focus less on incrementally improving a metric and focus more on improving the personal experience that you’re having with your car.

Similarly, let’s make it easier to access this hobby. Through thoughtful organization that supports our goals we should be able to jump right into our hobby without much setup time. Do we want to spend twenty-five minutes gathering buckets, tools, towels, and chemicals to wash the car? Or flip a switch, open a cabinet, and start washing within a minute. Our time is precious and valuable so let’s use as much as we can doing what we love.

The “what” is the easy part

As a result, we end up here trying to figure out the “how”. We need to be able to run this our way. We need to maintain freedom. Let’s tap into that entrepreneurial spirit and construct ourselves a self-sustaining hobby.

We can do it.

So, I think this starts with a brand. Build a brand that wraps your personality around what you enjoy and just send it. A brand that’s not here to tell anyone what to do, but to share the experiences which then fosters learning.

Let’s keep our cars so clean they become an unfair advantage.

How about personalizing our cars so we get more enjoyment from them?

We need to push ourselves to see what we really can do in a car. We’re going racing!

Let’s build that brand.
